Our audio engineer Bill took this picture of me working on tonight's Dateline in Newport Beach. Besides that, he was also nominated for another six Emmy Awards, the earliest being in 2001 for Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story for the segment “Young Boy and the Sea” in “Dateline NBC”, while the latest is from 2017, for Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story in a News Magazine, thanks to his work on “The Bastille Day Attack”. Keith is the proud holder of the 2006 Emmy Award for the Best Report in a News Magazine, thanks to his work in “Dateline NBC”, specifically a segment entitled “Children of War”, sharing this award with four other people. This is the position he maintains today as well, a job which involves contributing to reports on a nearly endless variety of topics, which in turn keeps earning him an ever higher net worth. In 1995, Keith came back to NBC as a correspondent. In 1992, he returned to Canada to co-anchor “Canada A.M.” on CTV again, while also hosting “The Editors” on PBS. Besides that, he was also involved in a number of hour-long documentaries as one of the most important contributors, all of which made a massive impact on his career and fame thus far. Two years later, he was employed in “NBC News” as a west coast correspondent, specifically for the “NBC Nightly News”, as well as “Today Show”.ĭuring his early time at NBC, Keith had the honor of covering a wide variety of highly significant global events, such as the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. In the said year, he moved to Los Angeles and joined KNBC-TV as a news anchor for 5pm and 11pm news. Having built a significant journalistic reputation, he then joined the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), and worked as an anchor and correspondent for a number of channels affiliated with CBC until 1986. From 1976 to 1979, he worked for the same channel as an anchor and reporter, and from 1979 to 1982, as a national affairs correspondent. In December 1973, he joined “Canada A.M.” as a news anchor, where he served until January 1975, then spent a year at CTV,as a correspondent for “CTV News”. He soon moved on to CFO-TV in Toronto, and then joined CHAN-TV (today’s BCTV) in Vancouver, followed by CFOC in Saskatoon.
DATELINE KEITH MORRISON PROFESSIONAL
When it comes to Keith’s first professional engagement, he realized this as soon as he finished college, joining The Star Phoenix in Saskatoon. As for his education, Keith first went to a local high school of an unknown name, from where he matriculated at an unspecified date, after which he enrolled into the University of Saskatoon in his birthplace, where he pursued his Bachelor’s degree in history, graduating at only 19 years of age in 1966.

Credible sources remain unclear as to whether Keith had any particular interests during his upbringing, but he is regardless thought to have always had a strong passion for journalism and television. Morrison spent a good part of his youth in his birthplace, where he was brought up apparently an only child by his father and mother of unknown identities and professions. Is it true?
